Lea Salonga on her bashers

World renowned Broadway star Lea Salonga is visible again on tv after making  her local TV comeback through  ABS-CBN’s “The Voice Kids.” However, she  is not happy with  Twitter users who have to tag her in posts with an intention to bash or criticize her.

“Tagging me in a hate tweet is like taking a dump and then showing me the evidence,” Salonga said on Twitter Monday. “How about you? To what do you liken a #hatetweet?”

In her following  tweets, Salonga sends out an advice to her critics who keep  mentioning her in their Twitter posts.

“In other words, bash me all you want, but please, have enough good manners to keep me out of it. Keep your dumps private, close the door,” she said. “Kumbaga sa Tagalog, kung gusto mong umebak, e di umebak ka. Pakisara lang yung pinto, hindi ko kailangang makita. Salamat.”

Salonga recently returned as one of the coaches of the local edition of “The Voice,” together  with Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Manalac.

The reality singing show  ranked  as the No. 1 show over the weekend. It also became a hot topic  on Twitter, with the “#TheVoiceKidsPhilippines” hashtag.
