Deniece Cornejo open to settlement as long as Vhong Navarro apologizes

Model Deniece Cornejo’s lawyer says she is open to a settlement with tv host  Vhong Navarro under the condition that Navarro will say sorry to her, who she accused of rape.

Cornejo together with the other accused in the January 22 mauling of Navarro, Cedric Lee, Bernice Lee and Simeon Raz, Jr., once again came face to face faced withNavarro at the Taguig Regional Trial Court (RTC) for a judicial dispute resolution (JDR) on the grave coercion charge against them.

Cornejo, Cedric Lee and Raz was also  charged with serious illegal detention. Cornejo is under the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group at Camp Crame in Quezon City, while Lee and Raz are detained at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig.

According to Navarro’s lawyer, Atty. Alma Mallonga, details of the process are private but she stressed that her client has remain steadfast in pushing  the case and would not settle.

The accused was scheduled    to go back  to court on August 28 for the the ongoing JDR.
